First 3D printed mosque has been built in Jeddah

The world's first mosque made using 3D printing technology was inaugurated in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The mosque, located in the Al-Jawhara suburb of Jeddah, was recently inaugurated. News Arab News.

From residential buildings to business establishments, cars to bridges, even pistols have been manufactured using 3D printing technology. This time, Saudi Arabia showed the surprise of this new technology. A mosque with 3D printing technology is also being built in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The mosque is being built in Bur Dubai, the old city of the emirate, under the supervision of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) of the Government of Dubai.

According to a report by Arab News, the mosque in Jeddah is named after the late Abdulaziz Abdullah Sharbatli. Wajnat Abdulwahed, a famous Saudi woman entrepreneur and businessman, built the mosque in honor of her husband.

Meanwhile, construction of a mosque with the same technology, namely 3D printing technology, is underway in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The mosque is being built in Bur Dubai, the old city of the emirate, under the supervision of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) of the Government of Dubai.
